Battle of the Depots
For a breakdown of the year-to-date figures, our secretary's depot at Lawnton just pipped our rescuer Pete's depot in Burpengary again!!!
Our ultimate collectors, Sue and Phil, do an amazing job collecting recyclables and donating to us at the Clontarf depot. Their figure for the total since we started with Containers for Change is $4943.90. They would have broken the $5k mark, but their local containers for change accidently credited the money to another account. Containers for Change offered to approach the other charity to get the money returned but Sue kindly told them not to worry.
Do you realise you can recycle your 10c cans, bottles, PET and cardboard poppers at your nearest Containers for Change recycling depot and nominate us to be the recipient of the money? We need you to help us increase the amounts each year-on-year. See the graph below on our progress.
We are updating this page monthly to let you know how we're doing and to show you that every little bit counts, because not only are you helping fund our Association, but think of the 10c recyclables you've saved from going to the tip, a whopping 72,674 containers have been donated to Pine Rivers Koala Care.

If you can't afford to make a cash donation, then what better way to help us, than to donate your 10c recyclables to us. All those little amounts of $1.50 and $2.00 transferred to us add up throughout the month, giving us a regular income to help cover our costs.
