Lawrie Smith Reserve

Lawrie Smith Reserve is opposite Old Petrie Town but access is via French’s Rd, Petrie. There is no through road off Dayboro Rd. Unfortunately, massive lantana and ochna areas to remove which inhibit koala access to the trees. Many other invasive vines and weeds that require a lot of manpower to clean up the reserve.

Closed in shoes, long pants and sleeves, water bottle, hat. Tools can be provided. If you have gardening gloves, bring them, or we will have some available in limited sizing. We will be doing a session 9am-11am and a session 1pm-3pm to cater for people who prefer mornings or afternoons. Meet at the end of French's Rd where the footpath leads down into the reserve.
