Samford State School Market Day
20th November 2025
On Thursday 20th November, the Year 6 pupils of Samford State School were selling products that had been carefully designed and created by themselves at the schools annual Market Day. Each stall had to select a local charity to donate the proceeds of their profit. We were privileged to be chosen by some of the students as their charity. Other charities such as Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary were also on the list of recipients. Our current President, Kelly Carter, and previous President, David Horstman, OAM attended the day to meet the students and see the products they were selling. They returned on 28th November to be presented with an incredible amount of $737.35 from the students. The students were then informed the money would go towards a thermal camera that helps us spot wildlife in the dark. See the photos for the market day
