Rob Akers Progress Feb 2025

Back in October 2025 we had a massive tree planting for Rob Akers, with over 200 trees going in the ground. A normal monthly working bee on Sunday 8th Feb showed just how much growth had gone into the trees over the last 3 (and a bit) months. Protective surrounds had to be removed from some trees due to their increase in size. Weeds were removed and general maintenance for things like covers that were leaning. If you're interested in joining our regular working bees, monitor the calendar for monthly dates and locations. Sometimes we have a big public planting day, like October was, where we have plants purchased with grants. Rob Akers, most Sundays you will find a hardy bunch of volunteers there from around 7.30am if you'd like to join them weeding. See the pictures for now HERE
